General Administrator – SilverAmber Jewellery (Corby, Northamptonshire)
About SilverAmber Jewellery:
We’re a friendly, family-run business specialising in artisan-crafted Baltic amber and 925 Sterling Silver jewellery, operating since 2007. Based in Corby Business Centre, we serve both retail and wholesale customers across the UK and internationally. We’re passionate about quality, authenticity, and sustainable packaging – and we’re looking for a new team member who shares our values.
Role Overview:
We’re seeking a proactive and organised General Administrator to support the day-to-day running of SilverAmber Jewellery. This is a varied role, perfect for someone who enjoys working in a small, close-knit team and isn’t afraid to get stuck in with a range of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing and preparing customer orders (retail and wholesale)
  • Managing email and phone enquiries with warmth and professionalism
  • Updating product listings and maintaining accurate records (Shopify, Google Drive, Trello)
  • Assisting with inventory checks and stock management
  • Coordinating shipping and returns (including preparing labels and arranging collections)
  • Supporting social media and marketing activities (optional, if interested)
  • General office admin (filing, supplies, scheduling, etc.)
  • Maintaining our high standards of customer care and brand reputation
What We’re Looking For:
  • Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Comfortable with basic IT (email, online forms, spreadsheets)
  • Proactive approach – able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous admin, retail, or e-commerce experience is a plus, but not essential
